Land Survey Technician Orleans or Sandwich, MA

Our Survey Division has an immediate opening for a self-motivated Land Survey Technician to provide field surveying and data-gathering support and processing for Project Managers in the organization. As a Land Survey Technician, your responsibilities will involve performing a variety of land surveying tasks associated with land surveying and civil engineering projects performed by the company.

Duties would include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Perform research of public records.
  • Use optical survey instruments for land surveying and engineering field work.
  • Perform field calculations.
  • Read land surveying plans and engineering documents.
  • Use hand tools, machines, and other items for the purpose of performing appropriate field surveying and other required duties.
  • Positively contribute to company culture and participate in ongoing learning and training opportunities.
  • Other duties as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of land surveying experience in the field and one year of office experience, OR equivalent college course activity.
  • SIT preferred.
  • Ability to work well with others and enhance a positive team building environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license.
