Structural Engineer - Entry Level Orleans or Sandwich, MA

Our Structural Engineering Division has an immediate opening for a self-motivated Engineer to primarily provide engineering support to Project Managers in our division. As a Structural Engineer, your responsibilities will involve performing a variety of in-office and field tasks associated with civil engineering projects obtained by the company.

Duties would include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Perform routine technical work including data collection, and engineering computations and analysis.
  • Prepare engineering design plans, and construction documents for various projects.
  • Review shop drawing submittals.
  • Perform engineering field work inspections and measure-ups.
  • Perform miscellaneous calculations.
  • Perform computer-aided design and draft engineering plans, sections, and details.
  • Assist Project Managers in preparation of project deliverables including inspection reports and/or letters.
  • Positively contribute to company culture and participate in ongoing learning and training opportunities.
  • Other duties as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
  • Proficiency with structural design applications, AutoCAD Architectural Desktop, Revit, and Microsoft Office computer applications.
  • Ability to communicate and develop working relationships with staff, clients, and other professionals.
  • A motivated team player with a positive attitude looking to grow and further their career.
  • Valid driver’s license.
