Structural BIM Coordinator Orleans or Sandwich, MA

Our Structural Engineering Division has an immediate opening for a BIM Coordinator to provide support to our engineers. As a BIM Coordinator, your responsibilities will involve performing a variety of in-office and field tasks associated with structural engineering projects obtained by the company.

Duties would include, but not limited, to the following:

  • Coordinate the production of project deliverables, including 2D drawings and 3D models.
  • Provide 3D building models built from architectural information to the design team for use in structural analysis and design.
  • Maintain structural engineering production template and typical detail library.
  • Enforce office standards for drawing production and review work completed by others for these standards.
  • Review building modes to ensure they are appropriately modeled.
  • Responsible for all aspects of structural models, including file management and best practices.
  • Positively contribute to company culture and participate in ongoing learning and training opportunities.
  • Other duties as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science or Technical Degree.
  • Minimum of five years of experience.
  • Expertise of using Autodesk AutoCAD Architectural Desktop and Revit (working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D a plus).
  • A motived team player with a positive attitude looking to grow and further their career.
  • Valid driver’s license.
