Roger P. Michniewicz, a Professional Engineer with more than 46 years of experience, serves as Coastal Engineering Co. Marine Division Manager. Roger has wide-spread marine engineering experience with residential and commercial waterfront design, including piers, wharves, docks and shorefront protection. His specialties include subsurface, investigational, and permitting projects on federal, state, and local levels.
Prior to joining Coastal Engineering, Roger worked for several national and international engineering companies on the design and construction supervision of major projects such as Bath Iron Works Floating Drydock Ship Repair Facility, Portland, Maine, Seafood Industrial Park Cylinder Pile Bulkhead, Newport News, Virginia, Crude Oil Terminal in Kharg Island, Iran, and Senipah Crude Oil Terminal in Borneo, Indonesia. For 20 years, Roger managed his own engineering consulting practice on Cape Cod serving the local community on a variety of marine engineering projects.
