John A. Bologna, P.E. is CEO and President of Coastal Engineering Co. Mr. Bologna has cross discipline project experience and expertise in the design of construction projects located in high wind and flood prone areas in the marine environment. He is particularly interested in early American historic building restoration and sustainable design practices in the coastal community. He has in-depth knowledge of building codes, project permitting, construction administration, and public bidding requirements.

Mr. Bologna has served on several professional committees, including The Board of Building Regulations and Standards Task Force for Hurricane Resistant Construction. John is passionate about sharing his knowledge, having served as an adjunct professor in Construction Technology at Cape Cod Community College, and frequently presenting at construction industry training workshops. Mr. Bologna currently serves on the College’s Education Foundation Board of Directors and also donates his time to a number of charitable organizations.
