Nicholas (Cole) Bateman, P.E. is a Project Manager in CEC’s Structural and Waterfront / Marine Engineering Divisions. Cole joined CEC’s team in 2015 as an entry-level Engineer and graduate from the University of New Hampshire. Since then, Cole has had the opportunity to work on many project types and sizes and is enthusiastic about high-end residential, commercial, historic, and waterfront structures.

As a Project Manager, Cole uses his experience to meet various client needs in coastal communities. He is passionate about working towards building a resilient coast and adaptation of current structures to meet future needs. Cole is an involved teammate on his project teams and strives for client satisfaction through communication, project management, and meeting deadlines.

Even though he is a “wash-ashore”, Cole enjoys Cape Cod and the surrounding coastal communities. He lives in Sandwich with his wife, daughter, and dog. Outside of the office, Cole enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors. Cole is an avid mountain biker and skier.
