Aquaculture Propagation Zone Permits

Town of Wellfleet hired Coastal Engineering Co. to provide engineering and permit application services regarding the permitting requirements for the proposed aquaculture propagation zone. Obtaining approval for this project required permit approvals from the Conservation Commission, State Division of Waterway, State Department of Water Quality, Army Corps of Engineers, and Massachusetts Environmental Protection Agency. The project is successully making progress.

  • Topographic and hydrographic survey of the seven specified propagation zones
  • Preparation of existing conditions survey plan
  • Engineering design and preparation of permit plans for the Notice of Intent filing
  • Preparation, processing, and filing of above referenced permit applications
  • Attendance and representation at the Conservation Committee meetings
  • Staking of the project for Conservation Commission viewing
