Restoring the office that will restore teeth
Coastal Engineering Co. was tasked with rehabilitating the existing 1925 two and a half-story commercial building bearing on a granite curb foundation, along with designing plans for the construction of a new two-story wood framed addition to be utilized as a Dental Office. The scope included structural framing augmentation and stabilization of existing structure as part of the existing building restoration project. The new design improved the building’s performance and increased the structure’s ability to resist new loads imposed upon it by the new addition.
