The citizens of Eastham voted to establish a town-wide municipal water system, with Phase 1 of the system to provide service to approximately 1/3 of the town. The system includes the construction of two well fields, a water storage tank, and 45 miles of distribution piping. Coastal Engineering Co. provided land surveying services associated with route design and installation of this municipal water system and related infrastructure under a contract with Environmental Partners Group.
We performed detailed corridor location surveys for selected routes of water mains, as well as existing conditions surveys for the design and layout of utility access roads and water storage tanks. Additional surveys and preparation of easement plans were made for water systems crossing private properties and public lands.
