Go Store It

Coastal Engineering Co. provided a foundation design and below grade steel framing support for two Go Store It pre-engineered metal storage buildings located on Tomahawk Road, Nantucket: one single-story and the other five-story building with two levels below grade and three above, totaling 87,600 sq ft. The foundation for the larger building was located over 19 ft below finish grade and as such, included reinforced concrete walls around the perimeter and was designed for the high soil loads. Footings were designed to support the interior columns. Accommodations for elevator pits were made for two five-level elevators.
