Operation and Maintenance for the School Wastewater Treatment Plant
The Nauset Regional High School is located on Cable Road in North Eastham. It serves grades 9-12 for the towns of Brewster, Eastham, Orleans, Wellfleet, and other communities. The enrollment at Nauset Regional High School was 937 students as of October 1, 2017. Coastal Engineering Co. has been providing operation and maintenance for the area’s wastewater treatment plant since 1999. The treatment system consists of two septic tanks, two Bioclere treatment tanks, and the final effluent tank to the leach field. Currently, Coastal Engineering performs quarterly operation and maintenance of the facility, adding sodium bicarbonate to the septic tank as needed to help with the process.
