Coastal Engineering Company of Orleans Cape Cod
Plymouth Yacht Club Hero Thumb

Plymouth Yacht Club

The Plymouth Yacht Club engaged the services of Coastal Engineering to obtain permits for dredging and other improvements to the Yacht Club’s marine facilities. This involved repairs to the existing pier, dock, and float systems. CEC also obtained permits for a new zone of reconfiguration.

Because of limited dredge disposal options, the application process included filing with the Army Corps of Engineers for permission to dispose of the dredge material at either the Cape Cod Disposal site of the Massachusetts Bay Disposal site. These offshore disposal sites require extensive permitting through the Sampling and Analysis division of the Army Corps of Engineers.
