U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod (ASCC), with its four MH-60T Jayhawk helicopters and three HC-144A Ocean Sentry fixed-wing aircraft, is the only Coast Guard Aviation facility in the northeast. As such, ASCC is responsible for the waters from New Jersey to the Canadian border. Centrally located at Joint Base Cape Cod, ASCC maintains the ability to launch a helicopter and/or fixed-wing aircraft within 30 minutes of a call, 365 days-a- year, 24 hours-a-day, and in nearly all weather conditions. In an average year, Air Station Cape Cod Conducts 250 search and rescue cases, saves 58 lives, medevacs 50 people and assists 89 people in distress.
The intent of this project is to complete repairs to the Multi-Mission Building at Coast Guard Station Cape Cod Canal, Sandwich, MA. Repairs include site repairs, structural reinforcement, interior water infiltration repairs, window repair/replacement, insulation upgrades, bathroom upgrades, roofing repairs, MEP upgrades, remodeling, repair galley ventilation system, and other work.
