The Town of Provincetown DPW engaged Coastal Engineering Co. to design improvements to various stormwater drainage facilities. The scope involved reviewing record data and aerial topographic plans in order to estimate the area contributing stormwater to the subject sites, hydrologic calculations to determine peak runoff volumes and flow, evaluating hydraulic capacity of existing drainage system, review alternatives with regard to controlling flooding in the subject areas, and engineering design of preferred alternative for drainage system repair based upon feasibility and economic considerations.
