This 18-hole links-style course is acclaimed as one of the most environmentally sensitive golf courses ever built in the United States, and it is the nation’s only all-organic golf course. Coastal Engineering worked with the project architect to provide master site planning, civil and structural engineering, environmental permitting, and construction phase services for this award-winning golf facility which included a clubhouse, a turf management building, and a family duplex with dormitory housing. Seamlessly integrated into 235 acres in Edgartown on Martha’s Vineyard, the club has since been favorably compared to the Surrey heathland courses in England.
