Coastal Engineering is pleased to announce the opening of a branch office at 25 Fox Rd, Waltham, MA, to complement the existing offices in Orleans, Sandwich, and Nantucket, MA, and Smithfield, RI.
“This move fulfills a key component of our strategic plan as we look to expand our geographic footprint, enabling us to better serve our clients and continue to attract new talent,” commented Coastal Engineering President/CEO John Bologna, P.E. Derek Redgate, P.E. will lead the Waltham team as Branch Manager.
Derek Redgate, P.E. is a Northeastern University graduate with over 30 years in civil engineering practice, providing professional services to both private and public sector clientele. His work experience includes site engineering projects in the Life Sciences, Industrial, Commercial, Retail, Multi-family/40B and Private Land Development markets. Derek has in-depth experience in managing full scope real estate development projects, from conceptual engineering design through permitting and construction. He has served his community as a member of the Wellesley Conservation Commission and currently serves on the Zoning Board of Appeals, giving him a unique perspective on understanding land-use regulations and the Massachusetts permitting process.
