Coastal Engineering Co. is pleased to announce that Nicholas (Cole) Bateman has earned Professional Engineer licensure.
Cole is a graduate of University of New Hampshire with 6 years of experience in structural engineering for a variety of structure types including commercial, residential, mixed-use, historical, and municipal buildings, as well as waterfront structures. Cole’s experience includes technical report writing, 3D structural analysis, Building Information Modelling (BIM), and project management. As a Project Manager in Coastal Engineering Company’s Structural Engineering Department, Cole provides effective engineering solutions in accordance with project specifications, Building Code statutory requirements, and clients’ needs. “There’s definitely a vast learning curve associated with acquiring the aptitude and efficiency of a Professional Engineer, and it doesn’t stop there: as a PE, you are committing your life to continued education. It is a moral-testing profession where you are held to a higher standard. Though the path is tough, the career in itself is extremely satisfying in both tangible and personal ways,” says Cole.
