Coastal Engineering Company is considered an essential business, providing critical professional services for the water/wastewater, public works, construction related services, etc. and will remain open during the lockdown time period.
We have initiated a voluntary shelter-in-place policy early on and had many of our engineers, technicians and administrative staff already working from home. Fortunately, we were able to expand our VPN capabilities, so most of our staff has the ability to work from home. We stand ready to service our clients and communities and are available to service any immediate needs.
We are grateful to the first responders and our colleagues in the healthcare industry that are on the front lines combating this deadly virus. Our thoughts and prayers go out to anyone suffering from any physical or financial loss as a result of the pandemic. While concern is still growing about the current environment, it is important to keep in mind that the crisis will eventually end, and with that conclusion, economic healing will progress.
We remain hopeful that this shelter in place time period will be short lived, but regardless how long it may prolong, we will remain strong and confident, that as a nation, we will get through this. Together.
