John Schnaible's career with Coastal Engineering was celebrated on 2/25 at a gathering at Pelham House Resort.
After 28 years with Coastal Engineering, which included an integral part of second generation ownership, serving on the company's Board of Directors, and management of hundreds of projects and clients, John is now retired.
John has been actively involved in the community, serving on Dennis Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Northside Methodist Church finance committee. Over the years, John represented Coastal Engineering Co. at such educational events in the area as Brewster Conservation Day and Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Cape Cod Career Day, and took leadership in rallying his coworkers to clean up local beaches twice every year.
After his upcoming trip to Aruba, John plans to spend more time with his wife Marta, children, and grandchildren, and to continue driving sports cars.
John will be missed greatly for his sense of humor (who's going to photo bomb at staff outings now?), grill master extraordinaire skills (who's going to cook the burgers at the summer cookouts?), kindness towards others (who's going to bring donuts on Fridays?), and a genuine passion for Coastal Engineering (ask anyone!)
Wishing John a very happy retirement!
