See you for fun educational family activities on Saturday, July 13th, 2019, 9:30 am – 2:00 pm at Drummer Boy Park in Brewster!
With over 40 unique presentations, the families can learn from interactive exhibits on aquaculture, natural plant gardening, and water resources. Take the kids to see the shellfish demonstration, Trevor the Juggler, and the AmeriCorps Puppet Show. Learn about our ocean resources, coastal erosion, herring migration, whale rescue, and alternative energy. Tour the blacksmith shop and the windmill, see a fishing weir, and enjoy some Brewster oysters. Special presentations include: aquaculture in Brewster, oyster shucking lessons, and shellfishing experts. Coastal Engineering's Registered Sanitarian John Schnaible will have an interactive exhibit of a model septic system.
