The Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum inclined elevator, for which Coastal Engineering has developed civil and structural engineering design and assisted with the permitting process, is ready to transport visitors up High Pole Hill, treating them to spectacular views along the way.
The inclined elevator is available to ticketed visitors and PMPM members during the 2022 season. In addition to online, tickets are available to purchase at a kiosk adjacent to the elevator entrance on Bradford Street. The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Wednesday, June 1 at 11:00am to formally welcome the elevator into service and we hope to see you at this historical event. "Being able to finally say that our new front door is ready is simply an amazing feeling. It is truly the dawn of a new era for the Pilgrim Monument and the town of Provincetown", says said K.
